Texas authorities have arrested a man in a Houston road rage case in which he allegedly shot into another driver’s car, likely setting off fireworks inside and leading to significant injuries to a pair of toddlers.
Alleged shooter Bayron J. Rivera, 18, surrendered to officials with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office and is being charged with four counts of aggravated assault, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez announced Sunday evening.
The incident occurred on the Fourth of July. Gonzalez said it’s believed gunfire hit the fireworks, causing them to go off.
