Hello, 911? This is a dating emergency!
The Gainesville Police Department is asking that fans of three hot cops, who gained some internet fame after a Facebook photo of them helping out after Hurricane Irma went viral, contain their urges when requesting emergency response.
The department updated their original post, thanking commenters for “the hilarious comments,” but asking that 911 callers not request the sexy trio’s services.
“Please do not call 9-1-1 and request this groups respond to your ‘incident,'” the Gainesville Police Department’s Facebook post read.
According to the update, “There WILL be a calendar.”
Proceeds from the impending calendar will go toward Hurricane Irma relief efforts.
In addition to this promise, the Gainesville Police Department provided a few stats on the men photographed, revealing that all but one are off the market.
“MRS. Nordman and MRS. Hamill have also enjoyed knowing how millions of women are going crazy over their husbands,” the post read.
“We can confirm that Officer Rengering (far right with the amazing hair) IS SINGLE.”
Following the unexpected success of their first post, the department introduced Facebook followers to other attractive law enforcement officers in their ranks.
The post has garnered more than 200,000 likes and shares since it was posted on Sunday.
The officers’ viral fame sparked a bit of a competition with surrounding police departments.
Sarasota Police Department joined in on the fun, sharing a posed photo of a few fine members of the force for all to enjoy.
“Gainesville Police Department has nothing on us,” the post read.
