The U.S. Coast Guard has released dramatic footage that sees its service members jumping onto the top of a “homemade” submarine alleged to be carrying thousands of pounds of drugs amid a series of seizure operations in the Pacific Ocean.

In the minute-long video released Thursday, a U.S. Coast Guard member aboard the Cutter Munro can be heard yelling demands to a speedy vessel tearing through water nearby. After a brief chase, the Coast Guard boat pulls up alongside the semi-submersible submarine and members again demand that it stop.

When the vessel’s operators failed to comply, Coast Guard members responded by flinging themselves on the roof of the still-moving sub.
